Renee and Todd had a perfect fall wedding at The Codman Estate in Lincoln, MA, an absolutely gorgeous backdrop for a wonderful couple.
Renee and her bridal party got ready at the nearby Concord’s Colonial Inn.
The flowers by Lindsay Norris Floral Design were a perfect complement to their wedding. A unique, rustic, jewel-toned color palette.
Renee and Todd shared a special “first look” before the ceremony:
Renee and her girls getting ready to walk down the aisle…
The stunning ceremony took place in The Codman Estate‘s Italian Gardens and I think it’s safe to say this is my new favorite location for an outdoor fall ceremony.
Todd’s adorable nieces served as the flower girls for the day, and they did a fabulous job.
There were so many beautiful fall details and accents in their reception decor, including their signature beverage: the Apple Cider Bellini which looked and smelled amazing! (Since I’m pregnant I couldn’t try it but sweet bride Renee encouraged me to order a virgin one, so I had some delicious apple cider with a cinnamon sugar rim that definitely hit the spot for this preggo photographer! 😉 )
The bouquet toss got a bit heated between these sisters….
Thank you so much Renee and Todd for choosing me to photograph your special day!

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
Renee: There are so many memorable moments, but I’d have to say it was Todd and I sitting down together back at our hotel after everything was over and reflecting how amazing the day was and looking over our amazing photo guestbook.
Todd: Our introduction and first dance.
What was your favorite detail?
Renee & Todd: We both agree that our favorite detail was definitely AJ Edwards, the singer/songwriter we hired to play during our ceremony, cocktail hour, and first dance. He was amazing and made everything so special.
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Renee: I’d say don’t be afraid to break ‘the rules’ and put your special touch on things. Also, find vendors you love! I loved everyone we worked with.
Todd: Take in the day and enjoy the moment.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Renee: Our “Last Dance” was a mixture of 2 songs, the last of which was “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred. I thought this was hilarious!
Todd: Our cake cutting was also pretty laughable. We’re not sure if anyone noticed, but the cake stand was pretty wobbly so we had to be careful when we were cutting it. Fortunately there were no disasters.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Renee: If I had to change one thing, I would have tried to have been more organized during the transfer of the decorations and supplies from our house to the venue.
Todd: Nope! Not a thing.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Renee & Todd: We spent 9 nights in Tulum, Mexico. It was the perfect mix of everything! We spent a few full days just lounging at the beach, explored 2 different Mayan ruins, rode bikes in the jungle, snorkeled, visited a monkey sanctuary (where got to hold monkeys), swam in a cenote, and ate lots of delicious Mexican food!!
Renee: Despite Todd trying out Fish Tacos at every restaurant in Tulum, he still insists that I make the best Fish Tacos 😉
