Abby and Tim had a gorgeous fall wedding at the historic Codman Estate in Lincoln, MA.
I love all of Abby’s intricate bridal details.
The beautiful floral arrangements were made by Whole Foods!
Tim and Abby shared a romantic first look in the Italian Gardens of The Codman Estate before their ceremony.
Abby and Tim signed the Ketubah before their ceremony. (A traditional Jewish prenuptial agreement.) “I am my beloved’s, my beloved is mine:” the chosen verse for their marriage, adorned the top of their Ketubah.
I love seeing couples honor special traditions during their ceremony.
The Codman Estate‘s Italian Gardens make the most beautiful location for an outdoor fall ceremony!
We took the drone for a spin to get some dramatic shots of the newlyweds after the ceremony:
Time for the hora!
Congratulations Abby and Tim and thank you for choosing me to capture this momentous and oh-so-fun occasion!

How did you meet?
I work for a health and nutrition non-profit in Boston (Oldways) and help organize culinary tours to the Mediterranean region, and Tim’s parents are two of Oldways’ most loyal travelers! I met Tim’s parents on a trip to Turkey in March of 2012, and then traveled with them again (as well as with Tim’s sister Cortney) to Puglia in 2013, and I must have made a good impression because they decided to try their hand at matchmaking. As Tim’s mom said in her email titled, “A Personal Question” from November 13, 2013, “As you know Bob and I are quite fond of you and we have a lovely, somewhat shy, charming son, Tim, whom we both think would be a fun match for you.” Tim and I met for our first date in the North End of Boston on December 7, 2013, and three years later, Tim popped the question in the same location.
How did Tim propose?
Tim proposed in the North End when we were there celebrating our 3 year anniversary at the same restaurant where we had our first date! It was so so amazing and I had no idea! My sister told me that she would let me know if Tim asked her to go ring shopping, and she told me she was disappointed that he hadn’t reached out when I was away in Greece the month before. Great acting on her part because they had been shopping and picked the ring! I was so surprised when Tim got down on one knee next to the harbor on Lewis Wharf (our favorite spot when we lived in the North End).
What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
It was all so perfect so it is hard to pick one moment! The first look was definitely very memorable though. I had been nervous all day about the schedule and weather and seeing Tim standing there put me at ease and completely transformed my nerves into excitement!!
What was your favorite detail?
I loved our flowers. The bright fall colors helped everything pop and looked so great! Go Wholefoods!!!
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Try to stay calm!!! I was able to stay calm once the ceremony started and we really tried to take it all in. Everyone says it goes so fast and we were so touched that everyone we love was in the same room, so we wanted to enjoy it.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Knocking heads during our first dance!
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
We wouldn’t change a thing. We truly agreed it was the best weekend ever. One small thing though…Tim was so excited for the bananas foster on our dessert buffet (it was the one thing he was adamant about), and we were having so much fun dancing that we completely missed dessert!!!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We were supposed to go to Turk and Caicos but it was canceled because of the hurricane. Now that that wedding is over, it is time for the honeymoon planning to begin!
