Lee-Shank Wedding – Crane Estate on Castle Hill, Ipswich, MA – Massachusetts Wedding Photographer

Amy and Kyle’s wedding at The Castle Hill Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA was a dream to photograph! It was my first time photographing a wedding at this venue and I felt like I was walking through the set of Downton Abbey!

In addition to the picturesque location (Amy and Kyle were married on the back lawn of the estate, with gorgeous rolling hills leading down to the ocean) Amy and Kyle were such a joy to photograph. They were the sweetest couple!

I loved working with them and capturing their happiness and love for each other, which was just beaming!

Amy’s adorable nieces were the flowergirls!

Here is Amy’s sister and Maid of Honor, Maggie…keep scrolling to read a special memory Amy shared about her sister….

The Maestro Musicians string trio made the day even classier! Very talented musicians!

So excited to be married!!

Beautiful flowers from Pepperberry’s

We had to wait out a quick rain shower, but afterwards we got a beautiful rainbow! Talk about good luck on your wedding day!! 🙂

I just LOVED Amy’s hair!

The reception was held inside The Great House at the Crane Estate….so much history and beauty! Can you see why I felt like I was on the set of Downton Abbey?

Amy’s cousin and Kyle’s brother gave wonderful speeches at the reception

EAT CAKE of Newburport did an incredible job on this cake! loved the details…

I can’t imagine a more magical spot to have your first dance!

The flower girls nearly stole the show later in the evening after they changed into their pj’s and were dancin’ up a storm with their grandparents! too precious <3

Such a sweet moment, I secretly snapped…a loving embrace between father and daughter!

The parents of the groom on the dance floor!

Thank you for letting me capture your special day Amy and Kyle! It was truly a pleasure!!

  Bride/Groom Questions

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

My sister (my maid of honor!) is autistic, and is very particular about what she eats and drinks. Our caterer, Timothy Hopkins,

went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect. Right after the ceremony the waitstaff walked around with glasses of white wine,

except for one who had an ice cold Diet Pepsi in a can on a silver platter for my sister. It meant so much to us that everyone

we worked with made sure the day was special for everyone.

What was your favorite detail?

Well, it was pretty cool getting a rainbow right after the ceremony.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

No, everything was perfect and created a memorable day!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

No honeymoon, we’re getting a mini dachshund puppy this week instead!
