Lindsay and Kristin had a fairytale wedding at Hammond Castle Museum in Gloucester, MA. This seaside castle is one of the most romantic spots on all of Cape Ann.
Lindsay and Kristin’s ceremony took place on the castle’s back lawn, and they had a harpist help set an enchanting atmosphere.
After the ceremony, we took photos around Hammond Castle’s grounds, which features a beautiful drawbridge:
Lindsay and Kristin’s dog Zeus served as the ring bearer for the day, and he looked very handsome in his bow tie:
This is one of my all-time favorite spots for oceanfront photos on Cape Ann. The breathtaking view complimented these beautiful brides perfectly.
The castle looks out over the ocean, with a great view of Eastern Point Lighthouse.
DJ Erik Maggs kept everyone dancing all night long.
The beautiful pink hues of the sunset even matched their wedding colors!
The full moon rising over Eastern Point Lighthouse was a perfect close to their reception.
A few weeks after their wedding, I returned with Lindsay and Kristin to Hammond Castle to take their bridal portraits. This was a great way to get more unique portraits of the couple without having to worry about squeezing into the wedding day timeline. I highly recommend future clients consider this as an option.
Taking photos inside the castle hall and indoor courtyard was just as beautiful as the outdoor castle grounds…
Thank you Kristin and Lindsay, for letting me capture your magical seaside wedding!

Questions for the Newlyweds
What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Walking to and standing at the Arbor looking at each other for the first time being all dressed up.
What was your favorite detail?
Everything! Kristin really liked her headpiece and we both loved our caterers and the food (Above the Clouds catering).
Any advice for future brides?
Take it slow the day of, make everyone wait on you! Take a moment before walking down the aisle together, look at everyone, and know they are all there because they love and support you. Don’t drink before your first dance and beware of slippery floors. Make sure to eat, dance, and have fun!
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Lindsay’s mom making every man there dance with her.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Would have taken a little more time and done more research before choosing a wedding planner! Luckily we found someone amazing to help us (Esq. Events) but we had to fire our first planner because we rushed into it when we thought we were behind on planning and it ended up being a big mistake. Otherwise I don’t think there is anything else we would have wanted to change!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Aruba, it was beautiful.
