Along with being one of the sweetest couples ever, Sophie & Ryan had a magical woodsy wedding in the heart of the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. Their special day took place at The Woodbound Inn, overlooking Mt. Monadnock, and every single spot was perfect to take pictures!
Sophie’s maid of honor, Meghan, was the hair dresser for the day. As you’ll see further down, she had a lot of other crafty talents.
I loved Sophie’s something blue shoes from ModCloth!
The beautiful bride eagerly waiting to see her groom 🙂
While Sophie and her maids were getting ready in one suite, Ryan and his groomsmen were getting ready in another part of The Woodbound.
The very proud father of the bride embracing Sophie before taking her down the aisle 🙂
Beautiful day for a beautiful ceremony!
Introducting the new MR. and MRS. Bedard!!! 😀
(a friend made this awesome Mr. & Mrs. wooden sign for the newlyweds. Loved it!)
When you have a chance to do bridal portraits in the middle of a winding mountain road, TAKE IT! 😉

The table decor kept with the lovely rustic, woodsy charm. And their wedding favor was a cute preview to their honeymoon in Hawaii! (I can still smell that delicious Kona Coffee! mmmm!)
Instead of dancing, Sophie & Ryan decided to provide different yard games for their guests to play outside. Such a great idea for a summer wedding outdoors! 🙂
Instead of a wedding cake, Sophie & Ryan went with their favorite dessert: PIES! Check out the adorable “pie topper” handmade by Sophie’s maid of honor, Meghan. (see what I mean about being so crafty?)
Another unique moment from the Bedard wedding was the maid of honor and best man speech…They wrote a funny & heart-felt speech that they said together. It was one of the greatest wedding toasts I’ve ever heard!
And look who caught the bouquet!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Sophie: When I was waiting inside to walk down the aisle, I caught a peek of Ryan through the window. He was smiling and laughing, and so handsome in his suit.
Ryan: Watching Sophie giggle while we were standing in front of our loved ones at the ceremony.
What was your favorite detail?
Sophie: I loved the instrumental version of Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles we picked for the walk down the aisle. It was perfect.
Ryan: Pie instead of cake…. i don’t know if thats a detail, but seriously pie is WAY better then cake.
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Sophie: Make sure your wedding portrays who you are. Some of our decisions were questioned by other people, but when it was over we were told that it was beautiful, and so us.
Ryan: Relax and enjoy yourself, it’s really easy to get caught up in everything.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Sophie: The toast that the best man, Michael, and my maid of honor, Meghan, did together was hilarious.
Ryan: My dad’s disbelief that I was actually getting married resulted in a couple funny moments.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Sophie: I probably would have hired a wedding planner.
Ryan: I probably would of made Sophie hire a wedding planner.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
